Patient Transport Supervisor

Location: Tulsa, OK – Ascension St John Medical Center, Patient Transport department

Responsibilities

• Supervise, organize, and coordinate daily patient transportation activities, projects, events, and resources.
• Delegate and assign work commensurate with knowledge, skills, and experience, and assure the work is performed appropriately; serve as an educational resource for support staff.
• Assist with the interviewing, hiring, orientation, and evaluation of support staff.
• Monitor workflow and work volume continuously and adjust workers' job tasks as necessary to ensure daily work completion.
• Identify and implement systems to streamline and gain efficiencies in work processes.

Requirements

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.

Qualifications

• Transport and customer service experience.
• Ability to be certified in other areas to meet job requirements.

Schedule

Full-time day shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
