Patient Transport

Transports patients to and from clinical, ancillary, and support areas, via wheelchair, stretcher, cart, or bed as requested. Includes the transport of patients with oxygen tanks, intravenous pumps, drips, and other special equipment. With assistance, transfers patients to or from beds, wheelchairs or stretchers as needed. During discharge, assists patients in and out of vehicles.

• Assist in transferring patients to or from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers
• Assist patients in and out of vehicles during discharge

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• BLS certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Previous transport experience preferred or willingness to train

Schedule

Full time (80 hours per 2 week pay period), with benefits

• 8-hour variable shifts
• Mid-shift/evening coverage
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation
