Patient Transport Associate Manager

We are seeking a Patient Transport Associate Manager to oversee daily operations in a hospital setting, focusing on safe, efficient, and compassionate transport for pediatric patients and their families. Key Responsibilities Include Leading patient transport activities, ensuring safety and adherence to hospital policies.Coordinating staff schedules, assignments, and coverage to meet demand.Supporting staff on patient floors and addressing operational issues.Assisting with transport during high volume periods or staffing shortages.Collaborating with nursing and clinical departments to support patient flow and resolve delays.Training and coaching staff on transport procedures, safety, and service standards.Leading team briefings, recognizing contributions, and managing performance with the Patient Transport Manager.Promoting courteous interactions aligned with the organization’s service approach: Welcome, Engage, Smile, and Thank You.Monitoring response times, service quality, and implementing process improvements.Supporting payroll, labor planning, equipment maintenance, and compliance documentation.Providing leadership coverage in the absence of the manager and performing additional duties as needed. Qualifications Include 2–3 years of supervisory experience; management experience preferred.Experience in healthcare support, patient transport, or hospital operations is advantageous.Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a busy environment.Calm, compassionate communication with pediatric patients and families.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transport tracking systems.Capability to perform patient transport duties using approved equipment and procedures.
