Patient Support Tech - PACU Recovery Room

Employment Type: Full time, rotating shift

About the role

Performs tasks related to the quality of the patient's environment, including: cleaning function of an assigned area, stocking of supplies, and the transporting of patients, supplies, specimens and equipment.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent desired
• Must be able to read and write

Skills

Participates in orientation, annual competencies, continuing education and updates and maintains knowledge/skills related to specific areas of expertise as applicable, including but not limited to:

• Hip & Knee Replacement Program
• Stroke
• Spine Surgery Program

Work Environment

• Clinical setting
• Exposure Class I: routine or potential exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions or secretions
• Medium work: standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling
• Work Contact Group: All services, employees, medical staff, patients, visitors, vendors, and various regulatory and professional agencies

Pay

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.58 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
