Capital Health Plan in Tallahassee, FL is hiring a full-time Patient Support Specialist to serve as a vital connection between patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls
• Schedule appointments
• Accurately enter information into the EHR
• Cook up and deliver a positive care experience
• Assist with check-ins
• Manage records
• Collect payments
• Help guide them through their visit
• Support communication through tools like the Patient Portal
• Ensure smooth patient flow

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
• Ability to learn and use electronic scheduling and medical record systems
• Ability to multitask while delivering courteous service
• At least one month of related experience or training, healthcare or customer service experience, scheduling experience, familiarity with EHR systems, payment collection experience, and a commitment to patient safety are preferred
