Patient Support Lead - OBGYN
About the role
The Patient Support Representative Lead is subject matter expert and point of contact for the call center. Conducts training of new employees. Handles escalated issues. Provides guidance and direction to staff concerning processes and procedures. Additionally the Lead will receive incoming phone calls to schedule appointments, resolve patient inquiries, work referrals and process pre-authorizations. The Lead will be a subject expert and provide support to handle all functions within the call center.

Qualifications
- 3 - years healthcare experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to type 30WPM
- Proficient with computers and related applications
- Must possess the following skills: Above Average Verbal and Written communication, Correspondence/Reports, Analytical, Design, Medical Terminology, MS Word, MS Excel
- Prior Supervisory Experience: 1-2 years healthcare or call center
Physical requirements
- May include standing, sitting, and/or walking for extended periods
- May include performing repetitive tasks
- May include working with challenging patients and clients
- May include lifting up to 25 pounds

- Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM (Actual scheduled hours may vary depending on business need)
