About the Role

Caregiver supporting Registered Nurses in providing direct patient care on a designated nursing unit.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, eating, and walking
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient environments
  • Support patient and visitor needs
  • Assist with telemetry monitoring and recognizing arrhythmias
  • Perform delegated nursing tasks like specimen collection, vital signs, and simple dressings
  • Document patient data accurately
  • Utilize technology for care coordination and documentation
  • Help with supplies, equipment, and transportation within the unit
  • Promote safety and quality in line with High Reliability Organization standards

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience with basic nursing tasks
  • Ability to operate clinical technology
  • Strong communication and compassionate relationship-building skills
  • Flexibility to assist across departments

Age requirements vary based on education status, with considerations for work permits.

Schedule

Night shift, 36 hours weekly, in a medical unit setting.
