Patient Services Specialist/ UW Medicine Northwest OB/GYN

About the role

The Patient Services Specialist 2 position is located at UW Medicine Northwest - OB/GYN Clinic on the Northwest campus. This full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week) Day Shift position offers a convenient location near public transportation and the opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
• Schedule provider and ancillary service appointments
• Obtain patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
• Partner with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
• Perform other duties as requested

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience
• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Educational and/or experiential equivalencies may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
