Patient Services Specialist - Patient Access
One Revenue Cycle (ORC) represents Providence employees who work across Providence Health & Services (PH&S) in revenue cycle systems and structures, supporting ministries and operations in all regions from Alaska to California. ORC’s objective is to ensure the delivery of Providence’s core strategy, One Ministry Committed to Excellence, while enhancing the overall patient care experience—know me, care for me, ease my way—by providing a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and sharing comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized revenue cycle expertise.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of customer service or healthcare registration experience
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Some college-level coursework, particularly in Medical Terminology or Medical Assistance
- Upon hire: National Certification of CHAA
- Upon hire: Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS)
- Registrar and third-party payor experience

Pay
Pay range: $17.45 - $26.73 per hour (base pay). Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
