Patient Services Specialist - Immediate Care

About the role

The Patient Relations Representative (PRR) is the first point of contact to patients or visitors in person or by phone. This position plays a key role in maintaining a high level of patient satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
• Handle inquiries and concerns regarding appointments, test results, and insurance issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and communications.
• Provide excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and problem-solving skills.
• Follow up on patient feedback and suggestions to improve services.

Requirements

• 1 year customer service experience, or Successful completion of Providence internship.
• Basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems.
• Medical terminology experience.
• Rooming position: CNA, non-credentialed MA, EMT experience, or similar experience.

Pay

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

This position is part-time and works a day shift.
