Patient Services Specialist

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and prepare paperwork for their visits.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls, schedule appointments, and perform cashier duties such as posting charges, collecting co-payments/co-insurance, and balancing due.
• Follow the process for releasing medical information and completing FMLA/disability forms as requested.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Prefer at least one year of experience in a medical clinic setting.
• Working knowledge of insurance and Epic/EMR systems.
• Background in medical terminology preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
