Patient Services Specialist- Atrium Health Southpark PRN Pediatrics
About the role
Part‑time Patient Service Specialist at GCMG Charlotte Pediatrics: Southpark, working 7 hours per week (8:00 am–1:00 pm). Pay range $19.80–$29.70 per hour. This role is not benefits‑eligible. - Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, arrival and/or departure desk activities according to standards and guidelines ensuring accuracy and an outstanding patient experience
- Encourage patient utilization of front‑end technology during the registration process
- Enter and maintain confidential and accurate patient information including patient insurance, billing, and payment information throughout the patient encounter
- Assist billing functions accurately and/or direct to appropriate billing office
- Demonstrate proficiency of emergency codes and appropriate responses as well
