Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding appointments, insurance, and general information.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments, coordinating with medical staff as needed.
• Verify insurance information and assist patients with billing inquiries and payment processing.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient flow and enhance the patient experience.
• Address and resolve any patient concerns or complaints promptly and courteously.
• Perform general administrative duties, including filing, faxing, and scanning documents.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
• Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in using healthcare management software and office applications.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
