About the role
We are looking for a full-time Medical Receptionist specialist for our Santa Rosa medical office location. This team member is a vital part of BAFC as they are nearly always the first contact people have with our practice. The successful candidate will work well with our existing team of professionals to create an environment strong in customer service, organization, and responsibility while supporting a smooth operating office.
Responsibilities
- Expertly answer multiple-line telephone with a consistently amazing attitude
- Ensure new patient appointments are scheduled promptly
- Schedule/book follow-up patient appointments
- Take messages accurately and ensure follow-through
- Provide superior customer service
- Route electronic faxes to the correct team member
- Confirming insurance benefits and deductibles
- Use of electronic medical records
- Faxing, copying, stocking
- Assist the doctors and office medical staff with various duties
Requirements

- Knowledgeable in switching between tasks and is detail-oriented

- Must speak Spanish fluently

- Prior Medical Front Office Experience REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
- 1 year of EMR system experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of medical office experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of vital signs experience (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
