Patient Services Representative

About the role

We have an immediate opening for a Patient Services Representative to join our team at IVF Florida in Jensen Beach, Florida. This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Rotating weekends and holidays from 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM
• Ability to float to additional office locations if needed

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors to the office
• Answer and assist all incoming telephone calls
• Schedule appointments using a computerized scheduling system and conduct follow-up calls when necessary
• Provide timely and accurate information and quality customer service to incoming patient inquiries
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal, financial, and insurance information

Requirements

• High school diploma; Associate's degree preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital or medical office setting
• Extensive knowledge of insurance/benefits, medical terminology, and medical billing
• Women's health, OB/GYN, or Fertility experience preferred
• Knowledge of office procedure and office machines (e.g., computer, fax, copier, etc.)
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment
