Responsibilities

• Be the first line of customer service for all patients and visitors entering our practices.
• Assist patients and ensure that patients and their families receive the best possible service.
• Calculate and collect co-payments, verify insurance (including Medicare and Medicaid), complete credit card processing, and balance nightly deposits.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments and follow up on no-shows or cancellations.
• Smile and greet patients and families upon arrival and dismissal.
• Answer telephones and check voicemail.
• Check patients in/out and verify patient information.
• Perform all other tasks as requested by management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma generally required.
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
• Experience with customer service principles and practices.
• Must be available to travel to other locations to meet operational needs.

Preferred, but not required:

• At least one year of experience working in a dental, medical, or healthcare office.
• Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO/Medicare/Medicaid) is helpful.

Pay

$18 – $19/hour

Schedule

• Monday – Thursday: 7:45 am – 5:00 pm
• Friday: 7:45 am – 1:00 pm
