Team Overview

UT Health East Texas Physicians operates over 90 primary and specialty care clinics, offering comprehensive medical education and innovative research. The organization also runs residency programs throughout its hospitals and clinics, actively training the medical leaders of the future.

Responsibilities

• Patient check‑in/out and appointment scheduling.
• Scanning and filing documents.
• Insurance verification and obtaining authorizations.
• Collecting payments and posting charges.
• Faxing medical records requests.
• Scheduling patients for injections at the hospital.

Qualifications

• Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience posting payments and charge entry.
• Preferred Requirements:
  • 2 years recent experience in a clinic or healthcare setting.
