Patient Services Manager
About the Role
Provide leadership that supports a team environment fostering morale, passion, quality, and respect. Lead and manage team member recruiting, training, and development. Perform daily inspections, patient rounding, assessments, coaching, and counsel team members. Coordinate and evaluate food service standards to ensure patient satisfaction and nourishment. Implement, manage, and maintain the patient ambassador program for high-quality service. Collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals.
Stay informed on patient satisfaction updates and current trends. Participate in departmental meetings, Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs, patient experience workshops, and projects to promote collaboration and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections, patient rounding, assessments, coaching, and counsel team members
- Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
- Take action and provide excellent customer service to correct any issues that occur
- Implement, manage, and maintain the patient ambassador program for high-quality service
- Collaborate with department, facility, and company leadership to achieve goals
- Participate in departmental meetings and Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
- Participate in patient experience workshops and projects led by the organization
Requirements
- Experience managing a team and in customer service
- Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software
- Must be willing to relocate for promotion opportunities
- Must have or be willing to obtain a valid Serve Safe certification or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Dietitian, or Licensed Dietitian
- Working knowledge of Press Ganey/NRC Picker
