About the role

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at RMA of New York in Albee Square, New York.

Schedule

• Monday through Friday; 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Weekend rotation at the Albee Square location in Brooklyn
• Three holidays a year

Pay

$19.00 to $19.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Interacting with patients; practicing effective, courteous communication
• Working the front desk
• Answering telephone and scheduling appointments
• Preparing charts; consistently ensuring appropriate forms are used
• Collecting patient payments due at the time of service; verifying accurate insurance information
• Exercising good judgement and taking initiative
• Demonstrating interpersonal skills: approachable, outgoing, and exhibiting a professional disposition
• Providing excellent patient care
• Working independently and as part of the team

Requirements

• High School Degree (Associates or bachelor's preferred)
• Strong verbal and reading skills
• Basic familiarity with computers and office devices
• Familiarity with computer applications (Microsoft Suite)
• Medical office experience is a plus
• Interest in the field of reproductive medicine is a must
