About the role
Join a busy medical practice as a Patient Services Coordinator supporting front desk operations and providing exceptional patient service. This role is responsible for patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, referral coordination, co-pay collection, and overall administrative support to ensure a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Register patients and complete check-in/check-out processes
- Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits
- Process referrals and coordinate patient services
- Collect co-pays and manage daily cash receipts
- Perform charge entry and reconciliation activities
- Provide front office coverage and administrative support
- Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2+ years of medical office experience, preferably in a front desk setting
- Previous EMR/EHR experience; Epic preferred
- Customer service or receptionist experience
- Experience with patient registration and scheduling
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes
- Experience collecting co-pays and handling patient payments
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Must have insurance verification experience
- Must have EMR/EHR experience
- Must have customer service experience

Benefits
- Compensation: Pay Rate: $15.00 - $20.00/hr
- Duration: 4 Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay and Benefits
