About the role

Join a busy medical practice as a Patient Services Coordinator supporting front desk operations and providing exceptional patient service. This role is responsible for patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, referral coordination, co-pay collection, and overall administrative support to ensure a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • Register patients and complete check-in/check-out processes
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits
  • Process referrals and coordinate patient services
  • Collect co-pays and manage daily cash receipts
  • Perform charge entry and reconciliation activities
  • Provide front office coverage and administrative support
  • Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2+ years of medical office experience, preferably in a front desk setting
  • Previous EMR/EHR experience; Epic preferred
  • Customer service or receptionist experience
  • Experience with patient registration and scheduling
  • Knowledge of insurance verification processes
  • Experience collecting co-pays and handling patient payments
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Qualifications

  • Must have medical front desk experience
  • Must have patient scheduling and registration experience
  • Must have insurance verification experience
  • Must have EMR/EHR experience
  • Must have customer service experience

Benefits

  • Compensation: Pay Rate: $15.00 - $20.00/hr
  • Duration: 4 Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay and Benefits
