Patient Services Ambassador, Part-time

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Patient Services Ambassador, Part-time at Aultman Hospital. Weekends and Holidays are required. Duties And Responsibilities Use an iPad to enter meal orders and communicate menu choices to patientsServe patient meals in accordance with dietary restrictions and guidelines recommended by the treating physicianRead each patient's records prior to distributing appropriate meals or snacksCollect all trash and food remnants from patient roomsPromote the highest levels of quality and serviceEnsure proper food and sanitation standards to comply with federal, state and other regulatory agenciesMaintain and foster positive and professional working relationshipsOther duties and responsibilities as necessary Requirements A minimum of 1 year of foodservice and/or long term care experienceMinimum education includes a high school diploma with ability to read, write, speak and comprehend in order to communicate with fellow team members, clients and patientsAbility to follow and give written and verbal instructionsBasic computer skills including experience using an IPAD or tabletA basic understanding of diet principles, food preparation and cooking methodsPrevious experience with computerized diet office systems is a plus Benefits AVI offers: A family culture and atmosphereCompetitive compensationHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time team members401(k) with generous company matchPaid vacations and holidaysImmense training and growth opportunities We conduct pre-employment drug testing.
