Patient Services Ambassador (Dietary Aide)

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Manager Patient Services or designee.
• Ensures a variety of duties are performed to ensure customer and patient satisfaction.
• Performs tasks to ensure patient meal selections are as close to mealtime as possible.
• Adjusts meal selections to accommodate patient diet restrictions.
• Updates and corrects patient-selected menus using patient knowledge and an assigned dietitian as a resource.
• Avoids serious errors in menu correction by utilizing a menu correction guide.
• Describes ingredients and features of all menu items to patients.
• Enters patient food preferences into the Patient Services Software Platform.
• Uses the EPIC Platform for data entry as needed or directed.
• Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, with additional courses or training, or equivalent knowledge/experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus, or be exempt due to medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying exemption once hired.

Pay

Pay range: USD $16.64 - USD $23.57 /Hr.

Schedule

Every other weekend; Annual holiday rotation.
