Patient Services Ambassador (Dietary Aide)

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Manager Patient Services or designee.
• Performs a variety of duties in ensuring customer and patient satisfaction.
• Ensures as directed that patient meal selections are as close to mealtime as possible.
• Adjusts selections to diet restrictions WITH the patient.
• Updates and corrects patient-selected menus with patient knowledge only.
• Responsible to use menu correction guide utilizing as a resource assigned dietitian to avoid serious errors in menu correction.
• Must be able to describe ingredients and features of all menu items.
• Performs data entry of patient food preferences into the Patient Services Software Platform.
• Performs duties using the EPIC Platform as needed and or directed.
• Performs other reasonable duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus additional courses or training or the equivalent knowledge or experience preferred.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

Pay

Pay range: USD $16.64 - USD $23.57 /Hr.
