Patient Service Technician/Driver

About the role

The Respiratory Disease Management Program at MED-SOUTH, INC. focuses on improving patient quality of life and reducing readmission rates. RTs provide personalized interventions and education.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-invasive ventilation using Trilogy ventilators and AffloVest vests.
• Implement customized care plans based on patient-specific goals.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans driven by various scores.
• Train patients and caregivers on proper use of medical equipment and medications.
• Collaborate with physicians to ensure continuity of care through customized reports.
• Offer support for patients with conditions like bronchiectasis, COPD, MS, MD, CF, ALS, and others.

Requirements

Must have a strong background in respiratory therapy and experience with non-invasive ventilation techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Alabama.
• Experience with Trilogy ventilators and AffloVest vests.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Pay

Salary range: $XX - $YY per hour.

Schedule

Standard work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
