Responsibilities
- Answers the telephone and communicates messages through email or Epic.
- Greet patients and register them for appointments.
- Schedule patient appointments.
- Collect patient copayments.
- Make appointment reminder calls.
- Verify insurance and other patient data accuracy.
- Scan and/or upload patient information to patients' electronic chart.
- Provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office, including medical records scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.
Requirements
- One year of applicable experience.
