Patient Service Specialist II

Responsibilities

  • Answers the telephone and communicates messages through email or Epic.
  • Greet patients and register them for appointments.
  • Schedule patient appointments.
  • Collect patient copayments.
  • Make appointment reminder calls.
  • Verify insurance and other patient data accuracy.
  • Scan and/or upload patient information to patients' electronic chart.
  • Provide backup for other positions and functions in the medical office, including medical records scheduling, insurance verification, patient referrals, and the ability to float between multiple locations as assigned.

Requirements

  • One year of applicable experience.
