Patient Service Specialist - Call Center
About the Role
Vancouver Clinic is hiring a full-time Patient Service Specialist for our busy Call Center. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service. In this role, you’ll schedule and reschedule appointments, assist with initial phone triage, verify and update patient information, gather details needed for appointments, and provide helpful directions.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of experience in either a medical office setting or in the health insurance industry strongly preferred
- Experience with multi-line phone system preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy
- Ability to work independently yet operate as an integral part of a team
- Working knowledge of computers and basic software programs
Additional Details
Patient Service Specialist has the potential for off-site work after successful completion of training and meeting the requirements for working off-site. This requires an employee to live in the local Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR area and have a secure home network with minimum upload (5 mbps) and download speeds (25 mbps).
Pay
Hiring range is generally between $19.38/hour to $22.20/hour, and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. *This position is also eligible for the opportunity to participate in the Metric-Based Incentive Compensation Plan.*
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 9:00a-5:30p
