Be the Friendly Face of Primary Care! Do you love helping people and making their day a little brighter? As a Patient Service Representative (PSR) at MaineHealth Primary Care - Family Medicine - Belfast, you’ll be the first smile that patients see and the helpful voice that guides them through their care. In this role, you’ll schedule appointments, answer questions, and make sure every patient feels welcome and supported from the moment they walk through the door. Responsibilities

  • Greets patients in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Answers telephones and schedules appointments.
  • Performs overall general office duties as assigned.
  • Collects, verifies, enters, and monitors patient data.
  • Complies with federal, state, and MaineHealth confidentiality policies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Six months of medical office-related experience and/or training preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.87 to $23.75 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).

Note: For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for Patient Service Representatives (PSRs). Eligible candidates are hired into a Full or Part-time PSR position. Bonus amount is prorated for Part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees and former MaineHealth Members with less than 6 months separation are ineligible.

Schedule

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position with day shifts.
