Patient Service Representative- Part Time
About the role
A limited part-time position is available for a Patient Service Representative in the Patient Registration and Accounts Department, primarily working at the Emergency Department in Viroqua and other hospital departments as needed.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and scheduling patients
- Collecting required information to accurately process patient registration
- Telephone reception and general clerical duties
Requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- The ability to multi-task and provide service with a sense of compassion
- Experience as a receptionist in a medical setting with proficient data entry and computer skills
- Experience with Epic is a strong preference
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

The starting salary for the Patient Service Representative is $17.50 per hour, with adjustments based on experience.
Schedule
The Patient Service Representative will work every other weekend from 11pm to 7am, with the opportunity to cover extra shifts as needed.
