Patient Service Representative - Family Medicine Ellensburg - Full Time (40 hours/week)

Responsibilities
- Perform reception duties
- Maintain medical records
- Manage referrals and pre-authorizations
- Handle scheduling
- Collaborate with the healthcare team, KVH personnel, and external customers
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of general administrative/clerical or customer service experience
- Current computer experience (medium to expert level) in Microsoft products
- Demonstrated knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Previous cash-handling experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college coursework
- Bilingual proficiency
- Previous medical office experience with exposure to medical records, insurance verification and pre-authorization fundamentals, scheduling, and/or high-volume phone systems
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) from The American Academy of Professional Coders
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) from the National Healthcareer Association
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) from the National Healthcareer Association
Pay
The wage range for this position starts at $19.62 per hour and goes up to $29.74 per hour. Actual wage will be based on years of applicable experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position (1.0 FTE) requiring 40 hours per week.
