Patient Service Representative - Doctor's Office - O'Fallon, MO - Part Time

Who We Are Seeking

• Highly visible interactions with patients

• Smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm
• Maintaining an upbeat, positive attitude in all interactions
• Formal training indicating a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
• Previous medical billing experience
• Medical coding familiarity
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Understanding of different types of health insurance plans
• PC/Windows proficiency
• Willingness to prioritize patient comfort and satisfaction
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work compatibly with physicians, coworkers, and employees in other departments

Pay

Sign-on bonus eligible.

Schedule

Part-time opening:

• Monday & Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Rotating Saturday morning shift: 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

Qualifications

• No nights or holidays
• Outpatient clinical practice
• This position is not benefit eligible
