Patient Service Representative- Behavioral Health
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for Patient Service Representatives (PSRs). Eligible candidates must be hired (offer accepted) into a full- or part-time PSR position. Bonus amount is prorated for part-time hires; per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
About the role
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) will greet patients in a friendly and courteous manner, answer telephones, schedule appointments, and perform other overall general office duties as assigned. The PSR will also collect, verify, enter, and monitor patient data while complying with federal, state, and MaineHealth confidentiality policies.
This position consists of 40 hours per week, day shifts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous office experience; medical office experience preferred

Pay
The pay range for this position is $19.87 to $23.75 per hour. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
