About the role

Responsible for completing the patient registration process for dental services by collecting demographic information, determining appropriate fees and collecting payment. Function as liaison between dental students and patients. The main tasks will be accepting referrals, scheduling appointments, verifying dental codes and confirming appointments.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years experience in a health care setting or related field; dental experience strongly preferred.
  • Two (2) years experience in customer service.

Qualifications

  • Customer service oriented.
  • Call center experience.
  • Customer support experience.
  • Good computer skills including the use of word processing and e-mail software.
  • Knowledge of Third Party Reimbursement.
  • Able to accurately register and interview clients.
  • Able to read and interpret materials.
  • Able to use initiative; be detail oriented, and flexible.
  • Good oral and written communication, customer service, organizational and mathematical skills.
  • Able to use a 10 key calculator and credit card machine.
  • Able to prepare daily bank deposits.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
