Patient Scheduler

Job Location: University Health, Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with scheduling, check-in, registration, check-out, and ensure a seamless experience.
• Manage patient flow to help keep the clinic running smoothly.
• Ensure all patient demographic and financial information is accurately entered into the system.
• Answer all phone calls and respond to patient requests, explaining health benefits, financial obligations, and the organization's Discount Policy with clarity.
• Take charge of the clinic schedule, ensuring it's effective, organized, and optimized for the best patient experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience, with strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency with computer hardware and software, especially patient management systems.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to maintain accurate patient records.
