Patient Scheduler (Remote)
What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients and external facilities to schedule appointments
- Collect, verify, and communicate benefit details of patient insurance policies during scheduling
- Educate patients on the insurance verification process and their estimated financial responsibility
- Confirm patient appointments and provide necessary details and instructions
- Cookordinate with healthcare providers and medical staff to ensure efficient appointment scheduling
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- A high school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of customer service, appointment scheduling, or healthcare experience
- 1+ years of EHR system experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- A bachelor's degree
- 1+ years of remote work experience, especially in high-volume call environments
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- An empathetic and patient-focused approach to service

Salary up to $20 per hour
