About the role
As a Patient Safety Attendant at HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. This is a nights position where you will closely monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, communicate concerns in real time, and empower the care team to respond quickly.
Responsibilities
- Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
- Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients
- Document patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
- Honor patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
- Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork
Requirements
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- 1+ year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
