Patient Safety Attendant Nights

About the Role

As a Virtual Patient Safety Attendant, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls and other safety concerns by monitoring them remotely through audio-visual technology. This position operates on a night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients identified as high-risk for falls or other safety issues via remote audio-visual systems.
• Alert nursing staff immediately when a patient attempts to leave their bed or exhibits unsafe behavior.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of observations and interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety protocols are followed.
• Provide compassionate, respectful support to patients while maintaining their dignity and privacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, such as a patient care technician, nursing assistant, or monitor technician, is preferred.
• Strong observational skills and ability to respond quickly in urgent situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Comfort with technology, including audio-visual monitoring systems.
