About the role

As a Patient Safety Attendant at HCA HealthONE Swedish, you will play a vital role in protecting patients at risk for falls, injury, or self-harm. You will closely monitor their physical and emotional well-being, communicate concerns in real time, and empower the care team to respond quickly—helping care for and improve lives one moment at a time.

Responsibilities

  • Watch patients with continuous focus to ensure their safety and well-being
  • Identify risks such as falls or self-harm and promptly alert the care team to intervene quickly and protect patients
  • Document patient activity and changes with accuracy and clarity throughout your shift
  • Honor patient privacy by safeguarding confidential information at all times
  • Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to foster a culture of compassion, respect, and teamwork

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School diploma or equivalent
