Patient Safety and Activities Companion

The Patient Safety and Activities Companion role involves monitoring patients to ensure safety, engaging them in activities, assisting with hygiene, and communicating patient status to the care team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant observation and provide necessary precautions to prevent falls or self-harm.
• Engage patients in diversion activities as needed.
• Assist with patient ambulation and food/nutrition needs.
• Provide assistance with daily hygiene tasks.
• Communicate patient status changes and unsafe situations to the care team.
• Interact with patient family members to address concerns and complaints.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient-first, high-quality service.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay

$18.33-26.62/hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Shift/Schedule: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.
