Patient Representative

About the role

This position is incentive eligible. At CareNow, we invest in you as a Patient Representative.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner.
• Ensure all Web Check-in procedures are followed.
• Answer phone calls to the clinic and provide information or refer questions to others as needed.
• Verify insurance timely and accurately.
• Ensure the occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures are completed.
• Review all patient paperwork to ensure completeness and ensure collection of necessary insurance/demographic information.
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, including accounting for and documenting all forms of payment.

Requirements

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start (required).
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.
