Patient Relations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Aid patients in understanding their Medicare and insurance options.
• Navigate and assist with insurance issues, including coverage, benefits, summaries, and eligibility.
• Help patients resolve medical bills both inside and outside of Oak Street Health.
• Advocate for patients by educating them on how to apply for public benefits, such as Public Aid and Extra Help for prescription drugs.
• Manage the welcome visit and orientation process for new Oak Street Health patients.
• Work with the clinic management team on operational activities, including scheduling and billing.
• Provide exceptional customer service and foster patient engagement through events.
• Support the care team and outreach team with questions regarding Medicare and eligibility.

Requirements

• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Gmail, MS Word or Google Docs, Excel, etc.
• US work authorization.
• Proficiency in non-English languages like Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (where necessary).
• Experience with helping patients or customers understand their insurance coverage.
• A passion for working with others to create an unmatched patient experience.
• A problem-solving orientation and a flexible and positive attitude.
• Experience with sales and a supportive attitude toward our patient population of older adults.
• CRM experience is a plus.
• A Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Experience helping patients navigate the healthcare system, especially related to Medicare and managed care.

Qualifications

• Computer Skills: Ability to quickly navigate and use multiple computer programs.
• US work authorization.
• Strongly Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in non-English languages like Spanish, Polish, Russian, or other languages spoken by people in the communities we serve (where necessary).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with helping patients or customers understand their insurance coverage, a passion for working with others to create an unmatched patient experiences, a problem-solving orientation and a flexible and positive attitude, a sales background, and experience with and a supportive attitude toward our patient population of older adults, CRM experience.
• Experience with and a supportive attitude toward our patient population of older adults.

Pay

The typical pay range for this role is $21.10 - $44.99 per hour or $44,300 - $95,780 per year. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
