Patient Registration Coordinator

About the role

Rural Psychiatry Associates is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to join their growing team. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth patient registration and access to services, contributing to the mission of delivering high-quality mental health care to underserved communities.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist patients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional first impression.
  • Collect and verify patient information, ensuring accuracy in personal, medical, and insurance details.
  • Collapse Coordinate appointments, schedule, confirm, and provide reminders for patient visits.
  • Support telehealth services, educating patients on the process and providing technical assistance as needed.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in scheduling appointments preferred, especially in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer skills.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Qualifications
