Patient Registration Coordinator

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Patient Registration Coordinator to join our team. We are a leading national health care service provider of outpatient treatment centers specializing in Opioid Use Disorder ("OUD"). Our team members engage in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management.

About the role

This position is responsible for performing clerical and administrative services in greeting, registering, and admitting patients, in a healthcare facility. The coordinator also schedules appointments and provides customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the pre-registration process for all new clients.
  • Schedule appointments accordingly, including orientation of new patients.
  • Maintain monitoring of all patient activities on center premises.
  • Provide customer service as a point of contact for patient inquiries.
  • Collect co-payments and patient financial responsibility at the time of service.
  • Ensure that all necessary demographics, billing, and clinical information is entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy.
  • Maintain strong communication with the Program Director, physicians, and other nursing staff regarding intakes.
  • Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorization as necessary.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, checking and delivering mail, and maintaining supply inventory.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1-year receptionist and cashier or other related experience.
  • Minimum of 1-year of healthcare experience.

Essential Position Requirements
