Patient Registration

About the role

As the first point of contact for our clinic, the Patient Registration Specialist – Float will ensure a positive patient experience by greeting customers, registering patients, collecting payments, verifying insurance eligibility, and answering incoming calls.

Float office locations: Delaware, Dublin, Bethel Rd., Westerville, East Broad, and Grove City.

Responsibilities

• Professionally greet all customers
• Register all patients (may be for both Ohio ENT and Hearing Health Solutions)
• Update all patient demographics each visit
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Scan documents into EHR, as needed
• Collect and post copayments and payments for non-covered items sold
• Verify referrals are in place for patients

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs)
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
• Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred

Schedule

Work hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Occasional overtime and travel will be required.
