About the role
You will be responsible for accurate patient registration, insurance verification, and collection of account information across multiple facilities.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and responsible individuals to gather demographic, insurance, and financial details.
- Perform bedside registration using carts/computers on wheels.
- Verify insurance benefits, obtain pre-certifications/authorizations, and ensure proper documentation and signatures.
- Calculate and collect patient liabilities, explain policies related to services and billing, and process charts efficiently.
- Initiate pre-authorization processes and input all relevant information into registration systems.
Requirements
- Preferred 1 year of related experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
