Patient Registrar

About the role

Under the direction of the department supervisor and nursing administration, you will register inpatients, outpatients, and emergency services patients by recording medical, demographic, and financial information. You will also escort and direct patients and family members to their destinations.

Requirements

• General office experience or education
• Computer experience
• Available to work within a 24-hour hospital setting
• Required to work some holidays

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required)

Skills

• Typing/keyboarding skills (required)
• Customer service skills (required)
• Medical terminology (preferred)
• Prior registration experience (preferred)
