About the Role
Bridge the gap between clinician and patient by providing individual support and assistance in navigating the health care system to provide continuity of care. Work with the current RN Navigator disease team to provide non-clinical support regarding scheduling, pre-certification process, follow-up calls, and record retrieval for timely appointments. Call new patients within 24 hours of their visit to the Cooper Cancer Institute (CCI) to check in regarding follow-up appointments and needs.

Requirements
- Experience working in a healthcare office setting, or community outreach and education.
- Knowledge of health care, inpatient/outpatient settings, and Oncology-specific patient population.
- Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to work well with people of various backgrounds, ethnicities, and life experiences.
- Ability to take direction, follow through with tasks, and work independently.
- Flexibility, optimism, and a cooperative working style.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent; clinical training (e.g., MA, CNA, LPN) a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred.
- Competent in basic computer skills; knowledge of using an electronic health records system preferred.
