Patient Monitor - Nursing Admin (Per Diem, Nights)

Position Summary

The Patient Monitor under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, provides patient care in the Enloe Medical Center Nursing Units and Emergency Department. They provide psychological supportive services, perform safety checks, assist patients with activities of daily living, and collaborate with the patient care team to ensure care adherence to the plan of care. The Patient Monitor also supports the service excellence mission of Enloe Medical Center and may administer CPR in emergencies.

Desired Education / Training / Experience

• Previous hospital experience

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

• Demonstrate communication skills and sensitivity for hospitalized patients and families, especially those with psychological needs
• Maintain strict confidentiality at all times
• Fulfill essential functions of the position
