Patient Flow Coordinator (RN) - Emergency Department - Weekend Differential

Role: Patient Flow Coordinator (RN) in the Emergency Department, responsible for optimizing patient throughput, ensuring safety, and enhancing patient experience. Responsibilities: Oversee patient flow by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, supervise patient placement, and maintain constant oversight of department activities.Participate in policy development, provide staff performance feedback, and support performance improvement initiatives.Serve as liaison among departments, facilitate effective communication, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.Evaluate healthcare delivery quality and assist in emergency preparedness and response.Guide and lead staff, promote staff engagement, and support departmental goals through data-driven decisions.Interact with patients and families, advocating for respectful, patient-centered care. Qualifications & Skills Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and Trauma Nurse certification.Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department or as a charge nurse.Effective verbal and written communication skills, proficiency with computers, and vital sign measurement skills.Demonstrated teamwork, initiative, and leadership abilities. Key Duties: Ensure respectful patient care, coordinate patient flow, lead departmental activities, participate in performance improvement, and uphold compliance with policies and standards.
