Patient Financial Service Representative, Full Time, Day, 8a-4p, Reconciliation, Morristown, NJ

About the role

Support management in the billing and collection of accounts receivable for inpatient and outpatient accounts, cash application and reconciliation, and resolving customer service issues. Additional responsibilities include notifying patients and/or guarantors of liabilities, verifying insurance benefits, and assisting customers with billing questions.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls for all billing inquiries across all facilities.
• Ensure insurance information is entered properly on accounts.
• Process credit card payments and complete customer service forms for various requests.
• Complete weekly backlog tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, healthcare management, or relevant experience (preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in a Customer Service Call Center or relevant area.

Schedule

Full time, Days (Monday–Friday).
