Patient Document Coordinator
About the Role
Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) is seeking two organized and professional Patient Document Coordinators to join our Willowbrook administrative team. This position is responsible for contacting patients, physician offices, and referral sources to obtain required documentation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable making frequent outbound calls, asking helpful questions, and following up consistently. This is not a sales position, but it requires confidence, persistence, and a patient-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to obtain missing or incomplete documentation.
- Explain documentation requirements and answer questions clearly and professionally.
- Follow up consistently with patients, physician offices, and referral sources.
- Review received documents for completeness and request corrections when needed.
- Track requests and update information accurately in company systems.
- Protect confidential information and meet established productivity expectations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Customer service, patient services, outbound calling, or medical office experience preferred.
- Strong verbal, listening, and telephone communication skills.
- Comfortable making frequent calls and following up consistently.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, in-person position at CPO’s Willowbrook, Illinois office. Training will be provided on CPO’s systems and documentation processes.
Pay
Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, increasing to $19.00 per hour after 90 days, contingent on successful completion of training and satisfactory performance.
